Up for auction is this one Copper Statue of Liberty Coin. It was minted in New York in 1986 from the copper that was scraped off the Statue of Liberty and then smelted down to the basic copper metal. These coins were then cast honoring the 100 year mark that this Statue has been here donated by France as a gift. This coin was only minted for a few months during 1986! Has some toning and comes in a 2x2 coin holder.
